Overview

Design
This series has been constructed with a robust yet lightweight design to be used in a wide range of free intake or ducted exhaust air applications. The units can be mounted at angles up to 30°.
Weather Resistance
Mushroom cowls limit water ingress in a range of weather conditions.
Protection
MV112 and 132 are impedance protected. MV202 and above are fitted with thermal contacts as standard.
Testing
All units are tested to BS848:Part 1, 1980 (airside performance) and BS848:Part 2, 1985 (sound performance).
Specification
Casing
Cowls are of UV-stabilised injection moulded plastic. Backdraft shutters can be fitted to fans 250 to 350mm diameter.
Impellers
The impellers are of powder coated galvanised steel.
Motor
The fans are built with a squirrel cage external rotor induction motor with sealed for life ball bearings. The motor requires an electricity supply of 230V, single-phase, 50/60Hz. Motor is rated IP44.
Control
Fan units are speed-controllable.
